So I heard this on the XM/Sirius uncensored comedy station on the way home from work yesterday and I laughed because it's true and it's funny. How many of you have made a Michael Jackson joke in your life? All of you that's right, all of you, I mean seriously we all put the arm of a jacket in our zipper and said "this is how Michael Jackson helps little boys put their coats on." Then everyone laughed and had a good time about it. So don't get all touch because he kicked the bucket. Oh yeah watch the video, it's hilarious.

The first time I saw this commercial it just jumped right out and hit me. VW thinks hybrids are gay. The add couldn't be any more blatant; well it could so I made it say what they really wanted to say.

Ok so I found this while Stumbling through the inter webs. I landed on Today's Big Thing and I am pretty sure this is older but it's still pretty funny. Apparently it is originally from a BBC show. A BBC show that's not supposed to be funny (FAIL). They have a choir singing "What's my Age Again" by Blink182 and that's interesting and cool in it's own right but the midget solo takes the cake.

Yea singing white haired midget, hilarious.

6/19/09 - New Videos and the Weekend.

Coors Light bottle + Hammer = Awesome. The 400fps clip, it's below. Hit up the video page to catch it @ 1000fps. Beer and destruction are always a good combination so how could you possibly go wrong.

Also it's the weekend and that rocks so go drink a few. If you have a Wii and you have the time, go buy "Punch Out" because they did a great job with this classic Nintendo re-make. Great game play, great graphics, great fun. (that came out a bit cheesy, oh well fuck it)

I think we might start planting some easter eggs so keep an eye out for small changes they could be your portal to porn.

It's true, things are coming along on videoanarchy.com. I like the new look and I think we will be sticking with this for a while. I've even got the new Phics page up and looking good. Check it out when you get a chance, I've got all the new stuff up there and it's all on one page.

The new 311 Album "Uplifter" dropped on the 2nd and I have to say I'm a big fan. I am looking forward to the concert at the PNC on the 27th, if it's anything like last years it gonna be one hell of a time. In honor of the new album I've just finished a new Phic. On a complete side note, go see "The Hangover", that movie was impressively hilarious. My face hurt from laughing so much and based on the people I've talked to the feeling seems to be the same all around.

Light Graffiti

So we had a few drinks and we decided that we would try our hand at light graffiti. I have seen so many cool things that people have done with light graffiti while stumbling through the interwebs that I had to give it a try. I realize that these don't compare to some of the more extravigant works others have created but its a good first attempt. Hopefully we will be creating some new and creative pieces in the future. Also Doug and I will be brain storming and putting up some new video content soon. So stay tuned.

It’s the NEW SHIT, NEW SHIT ALERT! And this one is worth a full watch. Alcohol induced hilarity! Even with all the things going on right now I found some time to get another clip posted to the Video Anarchy YouTube account (http://www.youtube.com/videoanarchy). The new post is a 10 minuet clip from the pilot episode of Magnetic, which was my catchy name for the video podcast I had hoped to start. It’s been a while and no new Magnetic episodes have been recorded, but I was at least still able to salvage some funny stuff from our first run. Watch and enjoy.

Days are short, especially when you have a job and like to sleep. Personally I have way to much going on right now. But I promised myself and the few of you that stop in every now and then that I would get some new stuff up, and while it isn’t what I promised, it is something. I have posted a new video on the YouTube account. It’s another old college project. It was quick and easy to post since it was already done. I hope there is more to come but it’s probably not gonna be for a few weeks at least.

Splainin' 02

So, “Splainin’” part 2. For those of you who missed part 1, go to the blog and check it out…if you care. Part 2 is all about the Phics. Phics, as I have mentioned in past entries, are my graPHICS. These Phics started out a long time ago as a way for me to teach my-self how to use Photoshop and all the filters and tools it offers. The Phics are currently displayed in a web gallery in almost chronological order (they are pretty much in order but there could be a few that are out of place). If you really dig any of them let me know and I can get you a high res version. I’ll put an email below for everyone to use, it can also be found on the Phics page. Cheers!

Splainin'

Well it looks like I may have some explaining to do. There has been a frenzy of work on Video Anarchy recently. The way I work and present may be a little odd for some people. I will do my best to keep my explanations clear, short, and sweet. Keep your eyes on the VA blog I will be doing my best to get these explanations going today. I have asked (forced) a few of my friends to read over my blog entries and check out the Video Anarchy website. From this “market research” I realized there are a few key topics I will need to touch on. 1) What is Video Anarchy? 2) What’s with the Phics? 3) What is up with the Blog and the way it is written? Number 3 is probably the most common question and I will address this in time.

While I am at it I might as well get started with the “splainin’”. So let’s address the first question. What is Video Anarchy? Video Anarchy started back in 1999 with an 8mm hand held camcorder and a few friends. Mostly a manifestation of boredom and a small town, Video Anarchy was basically goofing around and catching it on tape. All this goofing off and video taping just happened to be timed right with my interest in web design. Now if you are reading this and you know me personally you probably know that I have a slight case of ADHD and can never be focused on one thing at a time. I always have a lot of irons in the fire. So I decided to mash these two irons together and use my goofing off on video to help me teach my self basic web development and design. From this Video Anarchy was born. Throughout the past 9 years there have been many different looks for Video Anarchy. There have been long periods of inactivity and neglect as I raced off and focused on some of the other “irons”. The winds have blown back and Video Anarchy has found a new iteration and some new life. I am hoping that this iteration will reach a wider audience even though VA is just a testing ground for some of my creative outlets, enjoy.

All Day McDonald's Breakfast

Okay so it’s time to do something about this. For to long have we suffered the 10:30am dead line. Hangover sufferers, fat people, drunks, and stoners alike deserve the right to binge on the greasy deliciousness that is a McDonald’s breakfast. Be it a McGriddles, egg McMuffin, or breakfast burrito there is nothing better to cure a hangover, curb the munchies, or slap on an extra pound of flesh than a good old Mc’y D’s breakfast. So what the hell McDonald’s you have figured out how to make everything else super efficient. You even have some 24 hour restaurants but you can’t handle an all day breakfast menu! Shame on you! America deserves to not have to set it’s alarm on a Saturday or Sunday morning just to get to you before 10:30am.

Ronald the last time you and the Fry guys went on an all night bender, did 15 shots of tequila off some drunken college chicks stomach then prank called the Burger King at 4am. You didn’t wake up in time for a McGriddle but for god damn sure you wanted one. And when you finally woke up at 1:30 in the afternoon with a splitting headache and the taste of tequila and puke in your mouth the only thing you could think of was how good that egg McMuffin would taste and how great it would be to kill that hangover.

So don’t make me get a petition going, give America the all day breakfast they deserve, or at least give us all day Saturday and Sunday.

All hail King Bowser. No, not Bowser from Sha Na Na, yes Bowser from Mario. See Mario, and yes those are his horns. This is the latest phic (graPHICS, or the singular graPHIC, not Physics or Pics but PHIC or PHICS) that’s been made. Sooner or later I will get a gallery up of some of the other phics. I’ve spent some time on the internet (ah, thank you!) (You have to hear that in your head right or it doesn’t work, think Mike Myers) and I have seen a lot better but whatever it’s all good practice.

July Jersey Jam

It’s on! The VA guys (guys = me) are getting ready for an onslaught of early summer events! By onslaught I am of course talking about the two concerts up coming this July in NJ. I am calling it the July Jersey Jam. The important thing here is I’ll be rocking out to Moe (at the Stone Pony, WTF how cool is that) and the 2008 Summer Unity Tour at the PNC in Holmdel NJ. The Unity tour not only brings 311 but Snoop Dog, I know Snoop Dog right! I guess I’ll have to get some pictures up for those of us you who wont be the Garden State with me. Keep an eye out for photos!

Milk, OJ, Soda, & 40

The Re-Design

Thank you Dr. John Davis! I probably would not have started a redesign if you hadn’t made a comment over Memorial Day weekend. I didn’t think anyone still checked out VA. Turns out 1 person still does, family or not that’s good enough for me. Per my first entry in the Video Anarchy Blog I am how ever taking the easy way out on a few things. All the videos will be posted via YouTube (it’s quicker and easier for me) and I will also be keeping a running blog (through blogger, also quicker and easier). All news and info can be found on the blog.

P.S. – The Phics button isn’t a typo. Phics is my short hand for Graphics and you’ll soon be able to check out some of the Phics that I have created.

So I am taking the easy way out and letting some one else handle the complicated background work of pagination etc. That some one happens to be Blogger.com, one of the easy ways to get a blog going. Going I am, I hope, of course as the homepage states I am kind of slow on the updates and the changes. I mean I am only one person and I am not the best at web design, or video editing, or graphic design or anything else I use this site as an outlet for. However that is kind of the point of Video Anarchy a place for me to practice and improve on these skills and maybe even entertain a few strangers while I do it. Hell we can all hope right? On the topic of hope....What's my hope for this blog? My hope is to have a place to post and get my word out. I think I may even ask some of my friends to send me some posts and speak their minds. Let the blogging begin!
